Fund Raiser
Elijah had a brain tumor that was diagnosed in May 2009. He was given 2
months to live and I was told there was no hope, go home and enjoy
him...by a very cold, uncaring neurologist. But with the care of his
oncologist, his amazing western vet and a couple of amazing holistic
vets, Elijah survived for 2 years and 2 months, and they were fun filled
years, doing agility, earning his hoopers title, going to the beach etc.
In the end, he got an outer infection and edema and he was too weak to
fight....but he was strong until the end!
He was an amazing boxer. He loved to be with his folks. We got involved
in training when he was 7 years old. He earned his first title 5 months
after starting his obedience training. He taught me so much and he will
always be by heart.....
In light of his great fight, we are holding a fundraiser in his
memory. Most of the proceeds will be donated back to Florida Boxer
Rescue
you may be interested in some of the events.
Location
phone number is 813-361-5936
at the home of

Florida Boxer Rescue Volunteer

1. No sedation, ultrasonic teeth cleaning for your pet. This is done by
a vet tech, Tiffanie Ivins. Her charge for this is $40.00. It is quick,
painless and WOW what a difference. You know how much you would pay for
this any place else.
2. Hydrotherapy/dry massage. This is going to be at a cost of $40.00 for
a 30 minute session. She will massage your pet in or out of the pool and
feel for things that may need to be taken care of. Your pet will totally
love you for this. She will also instruct you on the correct methods to
stretch your dog and other useful information.
3. We will have a pet communicator here. If you ever wanted to know what
your pet was thinking, (yikes) this would be the time and place. This
lady is magnificent at this and has hit Oliver right on the nail many
times.
I believe this is a dollar a minute.
4. Reike massage for those that know what that is...its a nontouch,
energy type massage. Very useful.
We will also have a yard sale at the same time and hoping to get a meet
and
greet going. If you are interested in any of these, please email debi so
they
can put you on the schedule--

"As a side note on the echos. I have used Dr Boddy at another show and
she does an excellent job! She takes her time to truly evaluate the
dogs heart, works on a table that sits on the floor so your dog is not
so high off the ground, making them more confortable and secure during
testing. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs echo testing for
their dogs! "
